Soundtracks returned and models. Amazing and thoughtful work from many of you. High grades all the way around. Look it over. File ‘em. Remember to try hard not to say “I chose,” Instead…try something like this:
A great piece of music that would work well with the Prologue of The Book Thief would be Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony because it starts out very calmly and has a sad undertone. In the Prologue, Death, while whimsical, lets readers know of the current pain—the death of Liesel’s brother, and yet the hope of rescue – her foster parents. Death says, “The book thief and her brother were traveling down toward Munich , where they would soon be given over to foster parents. We now know, of course, that the boy didn’t make it.” (19)
