Mrs. Flowers helped Maya build a sense of self-worth. Write about a time you felt less than okay about yourself. Was there an adult (or anyone else) in your life who helped you feel stronger about who you are? Create a conversation between you and that person, integrating some of the ideas that Maya Angelou experienced.
